Frequently asked questions
Can I really see Rome in a day with a golf cart tour?
Three hours covers what would take a full day on foot: the Colosseum and Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trastevere and the Trevi Fountain. The cart moves through narrow streets buses cannot enter, so you spend your time looking at Rome instead of walking between sights.
How much walking is involved?
Very little. You stay on the cart between stops and get off only where you want photos or a closer look. It is the reason many guests choose us over walking tours — including families with young children and older travellers who tire easily.
Is the tour private?
Yes. The cart, the driver and the itinerary are yours alone — you never share the tour with strangers. Up to 5 guests travel in one cart; larger groups up to 8 are covered by a second cart.
Do you pick us up at our hotel?
Yes, we collect you at your hotel or any address in central Rome, and drop you back there or wherever suits you at the end of the tour. Just tell us the address when you book.
What does the tour cost?
From €190 for the whole group of up to 5 guests, depending on the duration you choose: 1.5 hours €190, 2 hours €270, or 3 hours €340 — with additional guests at €50 each. The price is per cart, not per head, so it is not a per-person tour that multiplies with your group size.
Which languages do your drivers speak?
Our drivers run tours in English, Italian, French, Spanish and Arabic. Tell us your preferred language when you book and we assign a driver who speaks it.
What happens if it rains?
The carts are covered, so light rain is not a problem. If the weather turns genuinely bad we move your tour to another slot or cancel it free of charge — cancellation is free up to 48 hours before departure.
