Frequently asked questions
How does building my own tour work?
You pick the stops you care about from the list, in any order, and we turn them into a route with realistic timings. If two sights are on opposite sides of the city we tell you before you book, not on the day.
Can I ask for places that are not on the list?
Yes. Write them in the notes when you book, or send them to us on WhatsApp — the Appian Way, the Aventine keyhole, a specific restaurant or a family address in the city are all things we have built tours around.
How long can a custom tour be?
From two hours to a full day. More stops need more time: as a rule, allow around 25 minutes per stop including the drive between them.
What does a custom tour cost?
It starts from the price of the standard tour of the same length, plus €25 for each stop beyond those included. You see the total before you confirm — there is nothing to discover afterwards.
